Inspired by Hafiz's poem "Elephant Wondering" I have attempted to do the impossible - to make the Luminous resonance of God tangible to our finite senses by using lush imagery of the Mother Elephant, the largest and oldest of all mammals, with her baby running through a luminous field. In the background are shamanic cave paintings of the elephant. The whole of creation is as fragile as a sprout under the foot of an elephant.
